Quantum Computing for High Energy Physics
QC-HEP Seminar
This seminar series aims to examine outstanding problems in High Energy Physics (HEP) and Nuclear Physics (NP) that can be addressed with simulations on the emerging new technology of Quantum Computers (QCs). There will be a focus on how HEP/NP systems can be modeled with Hamiltonians amenable to simulation on QCs, algorithmic techniques for simulating such systems on QCs, and implementation methods for improving feasibility and fidelity of such simulations on currently available QCs.
